36-year-old Cassandra Kioussis says she had “four beers and two shots” shortly before police found her slumped over the wheel of her vehicle and intersection in front of them. When police asked her to put the car in park, she rolled forward, and then rolled down the rear window instead of the front. She would eventually blow a 0.179 % BAC and was arrested for DUI.

20-year-old Robert Mitchell Hurwitz is charged with strangling Jacob Cox at Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville Sunday. Police ordered him to stop, but he continued the assault as they approached. Police to Hurwitz, who is visiting from Florida, into custody and transported him to booking.

Intoxicated woman charged after spitting on police — Rebecca Wetherbee arrested

Police say 29-year-old Rebecca Wetherbee was being discharged from St. Thomas Midtown early Saturday after a brief visit and was causing a disturbance, refusing to leave. Officer offered to assist in getting her home, but she refused to tell them where she lived, and told them to”go f–k yourself”. Police determined she was still extremely intoxicated and since she refused to leave the property, she was taken into custody for criminal trespass. Wetherbee, however, wasn’t done. Once in the patrol car she began kicking the rear window, and spit on an officer who attempted to put her in hobble restraints.

30-year-old Kevin Gately was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail for public intoxication this weekend after he was with his friend, Justin Bolla, who punched out the front window of Betty’s Boots on Broadway. 31-year-old tourist Justin Bolla faces a Class C felony vandalism charge after police say he was walking in downtown Nashville when he suddenly punched a hole through the front storefront window of Betty’s Boots on Broadway. Police reviewed security footage and charged the Massachusetts tourist with felony vandalism after the custom window was estimated at $12,000 to repair. His friend with him, Kevin Gately, was additionally charged with public intoxication.

23-year-old Olivia Cooper Simmons faces a multitude of charges after police arrived at the FGL House bar in downtown Nashville and found her clothing covered in the blood of a person they say she had just assaulted. The female victim was still bleeding profusely from the face when police arrived at the bar. Once at booking, Simmons attempted to shatter the patrol car window with her boot and cracked the door panel, and tried to kick and bite the officers. Her booking had to be delayed due to her aggressive behavior.

25-year-old Brantley Niven was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after causing a disturbance at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Nashville. Police say he was inside the 4th Ave. S. hotel lobby insisting he had a room. Management assured him he had no room there and was at the wrong hotel. He began loudly cursing and causing a disturbance, and a disruption to the business. Officer offered to transport him to the correct hotel, he stated “F–k you” and asked twice to be taken to jail. Left with no other options, and no one to care for him, they obliged.

25-year-old Braquece Smith, from Texas, now faces a felony charge in Nashville after police initially charged him with public intoxication after he was extremely intoxicated and had urinated near 4th & Broadway. Once at booking, deputies found a white powdery substance, suspected to be drugs, on him. Smith was additionally charged with bringing contraband into a jail, which is a felony in Tennessee.

25-year-old Samantha Brady is charged with two felony counts of forgery and attempted theft after attempting to cash two checks, one for $250, and another for $400, at Tennessee Quick Cash on Nolensville Pike Tuesday. Employees discovered both checks were stolen and forged and contacted police while she was still in the lobby. Police arrived and she confessed to attempting to cash the forged checks. Bond was set at $10,500.

25-year-old Tanner Sawyer self-booked on his citation charges this week, stemming from his trek across the field of Nissan Stadium during the Titans game on January 2nd against Miami. Sawyer was cited for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after says he leaped onto the field and ran across it after several other fans in his section “dared him” to do it. Police declared it was a “great annoyance to spectators”.

DUI: Parson James found unresponsive after crashing vehicle into East Nashville dumpster

Just before 2 a.m. on Thursday, January 27th, Metro Police found 30-year-old Ashton Parson, better known by his stage name of ‘Parson James’, crashed into a dumpster behind the Checkers restaurant in East Nashville. He was initially unresponsive with the vehicle still in drive. Eventually, police were able to knock enough on the window to get him awake. He was reportedly extremely intoxicated and admitted to having a “couple of drinks” prior to driving.

On January 2nd, Parson took to social media to admit he struggled with addiction and declared himself an alcoholic. On January 18th he further posted that he was checking into a “mental health facility” to work on himself.

24-year-old Kevin Tuttle is jailed on a $385,000 bond and a probation hold after Metro Nashville Police coordinated with Smyrna PD to take him into custody. After fleeing from Smyrna Police’s traffic stop, he took MNPD on a chase through the city in his Nissan Maxima from a Nolensville Rd Kroger through Antioch where he tossed out a safe with a large sum of money, all the way to Richard Jones Rd and Villa Place, all while being tracked by AirONE. Police would eventually recover 8 pounds of marijuana, 1.4 Kilos of Xanax, 324 LSD stamps, 62 grams of liquid THC, 243 grams of THC wax in 9 jars, and 88 grams of crystal meth. His mugshot was not immediately available before publication.

Man charged with giving child cocaine, raping her, hiding her from police — Da’Sean Hancock (D William Hancock)

26-year-old Da’Sean William Hancock (D. William Hancock) is now jailed on felony aggravated kidnapping, aggravated statutory rape, and child endangerment charges. Police say they located him at his Nob Hill apartment with a 13-year-old child, who he hid in a closet when she tried to escape, realizing police had arrived. Police say he gave the child marijuana and cocaine until she felt “high and numb” and raped her twice. A friend of the child assisted the police in the rescue of the child. Hancock remains jailed on an $85,000 bond.

He had fallen asleep at the bar and was asked to leave, but instead decided to threaten Joseph Gillaspie and pushed him when Robert Silliman attempted to restrain McGhee, who kicked him in the face.

Man charged after threatening to show sex-tape to ex-girlfriend’s co-workers — Donald Wilson

44-year-old Donald Maurice Wilson was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Monday after his ex-girlfriend, Paula Bail, reported she received a text message from Wilson which contained an adult intimate video of them together, with threats to show up to her workplace and show the video to her co-workers. She says when the recording was made she noticed he held up a phone, but says he told her he wasn’t recording.

Wilson is charged with unlawful photography and is free on a $1,000 bond.
