Police say she flagged them down at the hospital where he was being treated for a suspected broken nose to tell them that Austin had pulled her hair so she punched him in the nose. 25-year-old Dequinzay Gray was jailed Wednesday night after her boyfriend showed police a video of her hitting and kicking the window and door of his vehicle. She was charged with vandalism and posted a $1,500 bond. Upon release, she then posted a flurry of retribution posts on social media, attempting to shame him.
Patient charged after spitting on Vanderbilt Nurse; throwing coffee — Jimmy White Jr.
20-year-old Jimmy White, Jr. is charged with assault after he was being restrained and spit on a Registered Nurse in charge of his care at Vanderbilt Hospital. Earlier in the day he also threw a cup of coffee at the nurse. Bond was set at $250.
Hillsboro High: Teen charged after trapping girlfriend in hallway, attempting sex act against her will
Police say school security video shows 18-year-old William Austin Richmond holding his girlfriend against her will, trapping her inside a vacant hallway of Hillsboro High School while attempting to get her to perform a sex act on him after she declined. He attempted to pull her into a stairwell behind a closed door as she struggled to escape. He is charged with two misdemeanors, domestic assault, and false imprisonment. He is free on a $2,000 bond.

41-year-old Daniel Harvell, from Arizona, is charged with vandalism after he came to his son’s birthday party in Nashville at the home of the child’s mother, got drunk, and told family members they had all ruined his life. He then retreated to an upstairs room and punched a hole in the wall. He is free on a $2,500 bond.
71-year-old breaks into ex’s house, armed with a stick — Gregory Mavity
71-year-old Gregory Mavity was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail this week on a warrant charging him with aggravated burglary and domestic assault. Court records allege he broke into the home of a woman he broke up with three years ago, armed with a stick under his shirt, and shoved her into a table before fleeing.

36-year-old Scott Gray III is charged with harassment after he came to his ex-girlfriend’s apartment and beat on her door. 24-year-old Nicholas Terry was found wandering around downtown Nashville alone in the odd hours between last call and sun-up Tuesday morning. Officers felt he was in such a state that he was unable to care for himself, and could not be left to roam downtown on his own. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication. No one retrieved him, so he served his full 8-hour hold before being released back into the city, ready for round two.
Man bleaches girlfriend’s clothes, smashes bricks through her window — Jalen Radford arrested, again.
Metro Police located 22-year-old Jalen Amier Radford at the entrance of the Flats at Walden Grove with all of his belongings early Monday morning. His girlfriend says he bleached her clothes then tossed bricks through the window of her car. He is also charged with assaulting her when he wrestled her to the ground, leaving her with a bruised finger, scraped knee, and scratches.

54-year-old Robyn Gist is charged with domestic assault after she grabbed her husband’s shirt, ripping it, and punched him in the face during an argument at a gas station, where they had stopped to get drinks to cool down after a prior argument. 26-year-old Wallisha K. Hickman is charged with domestic assault after throwing a plastic bottle of Green Tea at her mothing, causing the tea to get on her face and shirt. Night Court Commissioner Timothy Lee set her bond at $100. Wallisha has not yet posted bond, despite her domestic violence hold expiring around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Man parks at random house, has 3AM concert in driveway, says he’s “just trying to get home” — Jason Blandford
40-year-old Jason Blandford woke up some residents in Madison early Tuesday morning. They say he was either very “drunk or high” and singing songs in their driveway, where he had parked his car. By the time officers arrived, he was “laying out” in the driveway, where he told them he was “just trying to get home.”
DUI: Woman blows nearly 3x BAC limit after crash — DNeshia Mitchell arrested
Police say 22-year-old Dneshia Mitchell blew a 0.231 BAC after crashing her car in Antioch. She sustained minor injuries, and completed field sobriety tests in her bare feet, after locking her keys in her car after the crash, with her shoes and socks inside. Mitchell says she had “two shots of Jack Daniel’s” ten minutes before driving. She is free on pre-trial release.

21-year-old Cody Leonard got into an argument downtown when someone called his brother a derogatory term. Police got everyone to calm down and agree to go their separate ways, except Cody. Cody stated: “The only way I’m leaving is if you take me to jail”. Officers obliged, and booked him on a charge of public intoxication.
Drunken tourist charged after urinating in a mop bucket at Nashville Airport: Rishan Chamdal
24-year-old Rishan Chamdal, of Houston, TX, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Sunday night after airport police say he went into the backroom of the District News shop inside concourse D and urinated into a mop bucket. An employee caught him mid-stream, demanding he stop, and when he didn’t (or couldn’t) she called airport police. He resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground, and caused a disturbance while being escorted out of the building.

A trio of 18-year-olds from Nashville are charged after a female lured a man to a 40th Ave N. home, at which point Deyton Farless, Michael Barlow, and Hugo Tabora, were among the teens that held him using a stun gun and hammer, robbed him of his belonging, forced him to drain his CashApp account, then kidnapped him using his own vehicle, drove 7 miles before dumping him out, and then fled toward Cookeville and engaged in a chase with THP and local police.

Metro Nashville Police issued a simple statement that one of their officers had been dismissed after he was charged with DUI when his “pickup truck hit another vehicle’s side mirror, and he left the scene”. Court records show Officer Jerram Plastow had actually driven to an East Nashville Public Housing Community to commit suicide with his Glock 22 duty weapon after his girlfriend broke up with him. Witnesses say 36-year-old Charles Waynick was “holding his baby in front of him as if he were going to drop the child, while looking up to the sky with this eyes closed, and making weird noises” earlier this month and called police. During his arrest, he asked if he could kiss his child. He was allowed to do so, and stated: “Daddy needs to get help”.
