Man charged after stabbing trash can in front of Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville — Ryan McEwen

33-year-old Ryan James McEwen was found causing a disturbance in front of Kid Rock’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Metro Nashville Police observed him yelling and screaming while stabbing a trash can with a knife. He reportedly reeked of alcohol, and officers were unable to determine the reason for his rage. He was charged with public intoxication.

Nashville Booster charged in theft of almost $5,000 worth of Titans Jerseys from Pro Shop — Orlexus Elliott

23-year-old #BoosterClub member Orlexus Elliott is charged in the theft of $4,720 worth of Titans Jerseys from the pro shop on November 5th. Orlexus and another female, whose arrest is pending, entered the Titans Pro Shop at 1 Titans way earlier this month, grabbed all the jerseys they could, and fled the store, fleeing in a black Nissan Murano convertible. Nashville has a thriving underground of ‘boosters’ who steal racks of items from stores to sell online.

As soon as police initially interviewed Elliott about this theft, she removed the stolen items from her social media, where she had the jerseys listed for sale, and offered to arrange to have them returned. Police gave her time to do that, however, she never followed through. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday, charged with felony theft. She is free on a $2,500 bond.

Man charged with strangling girlfriend during argument after night out drinking — Tyler Byrd

21-year-old Tyler Byrd faced a felony aggravated assault – strangulation charge after police responded to a domestic disturbance on Hillmeade drive and could hear a couple arguing from outside the residence. The victim, Hannah Stroud, told police she and her boyfriend had been arguing and that he “choked” her, and presented visible abrasions and scratches on her neck. The couple had been out drinking earlier in the evening. Though Byrd sustained a cut lip and small scratch, he was determined to be the primary aggressor. He is free on a $10,000 bond.

High on Molly and banging on the door to 3 Crow Bar — Derek Pascoe arrested #EastNashville

29-year-old Derek Pascoe says he was high on molly(MDMA) when police found him banging on the door of 3 Crow Bar in East Nashville at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday. The manager called Metro Nashville Police after the man was yelling through the door at staff. Police found him to also have a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person and determined him to be a danger if left alone in public. He was transported to booking, and charged with public intoxication.

36-year-old Alexis Baker is now charged with felony vandalism after her arrest Tuesday on an outstanding warrant from late October. Metro Police say she went to the home of her ex-boyfriend, Sean Cooper, at Village on the Green apartments and covered her ex-boyfriend’s front door and vehicle with expletives using black spray paint. A Ring video doorbell captured the incident on video. Baker is free on a $2,000 bond.

“Yes that’s my pot, I’ve been smoking for 50 years” — Ricky Cook arrested in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police found 61-year-old Ricky Lee Cook at the Johnny Cash Museum restaurant, where staff had asked him to leave after they deemed him to be a bother to staff and patrons, and he refused to do so. Police noticed he was heavily intoxicated, and took him into custody. During a search incidental to his arrest, officers located a leather satchel with a green Tupperware container inside, which contained his personal use marijuana. When asked, he confirmed it was marijuana, and stated: “I’ve been smoking pot for 50 years”. Police charged him with drug possession and public intoxication and transported him to jail. He is free on pre-trial release.

18-year-old Devin Adams is charged with felony possession of a weapon on school grounds after police found him parked in the rear parking lot of Tom Joy Elementary School just before midnight Monday. 29-year-old Jordan Klochany is charged with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, reportedly upset that his parents found out about his increasing issues with alcohol and a prior domestic incident between the couple just days prior. Court records allege he slammed a door into her face and wrist, then stood over her, mocking her, as she laid on the floor in pain. Klochany admitted to drinking a pint of Whisky and told officers that he was not even home at the time of the incident, and also that he never left the home. Officers could hear him screaming “I’ll break the (inside) door down, it’s that simple!” as they initially approached the home. Jordan Klochany is free on a $2,000 bond.

48-year-old Donna Williams suffered multiple injuries after her twin brother had to defend himself against her when she attacked him with a taser, a pocket knife, and eventually stabbed him with a large silver salad mixing fork. Florida Couple add unexpected jail visit to Nashville travel itinerary — Robert & Jamie Hansen #VisitMusicCity

26-year-old Logan McCullough was charged with DUI on Saturday in East Nashville after Officer Paul Stein says he observed her perform a rolling stop at a stop sign, then cross several lines and swerve as he followed her. TSU Police charge two teens with felonies for 75 grams of marijuana on campus — General Jai Lynch & Jordan Bowers

TSU Campus Police Officer responded to the back of Wilson Hall on the TSU Campus Saturday afternoon, where he says she smelled “an odor of marijuana” coming from a vehicle, which was occupied by 19-year-old General Jaire Lynch and 18-year-old Jordan Bowers. Both teens admitted to being in possession of a bag of weed and displayed them to the officers. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and recovered one smoked blunt, one non-smoked blunt, and each teen’s bag, which all totaled 75 grams of marijuana. The teens were each charged with felony possession with intent to distribute and are free on pre-trial release.

Man crashes work van into strip club fence after leaving inside; drank “half-bottle of jack” — Robert Fontaine

33-year-old Robert Fontaine was dressed in his work shirt and driving his Nashville Machine Elevator work van when he arrived at Pure Gold’s Crazy Horse Nashville Friday evening. As he was leaving the strip club, security attempted to dissuade him from driving due to his level of intoxication, however, he fled the parking lot, crashing into the fence along McCann St. He would later tell officers he had a “half-bottle of Jack”. Due to being transported to the hospital, field sobriety tests were not completed. Fontaine was charged with DUI and is free on pre-trial release.

41-year-old Wafa Taha Dardas was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail after her husband, Husni Hassan, asked her if she was going to do his laundry that particular day. She told him she was not going to do his laundry, at which point he gathered his belonging and attempted to leave. On his way out the door, she reportedly attacked him with a spoon, leaving multiple visible injuries on his neck and hand. She is free on a $1,500 bond, charged with domestic assault.

Man charged with DUI of marijuana; Commissioner denies MNPD’s blood warrant request — Javarrian Boddie

#MNPD Officer Coleman Womack says 25-year-old Javarrian Boddie was driving under the influence of drugs, and believes the specific drug to be marijuana, after an initial stop for a brake light being out. An arrest affidavit, which he signed under oath, states this is due to “watery eyes being a sign of drug use”, and Boddie “smelling like marijuana”.

Despite Boddie showing no clues of impairment on some tests, and only minimal clues on others, Officer Womack took him into custody, where he says Boddie fell asleep in the back of the patrol car while he was completing paperwork and his speech was “so slurred it was hard to understand”. Coleman drafted a warrant for a blood draw, however, Night Court Commissioner Steve Holzapfel denied the warrant, for insufficient cause. Bodie was booked on charges of DUI, implied consent violation, and driving on s suspended license. He is free on a $2,000 bond.

22-year-old Malyiea Hogan was booked into custody this week on an outstanding warrant from 2019, charging her with theft while she was an Assistant Manager at Plato’s Closet. Court records allege she applied discounts to her own sale, reducing the transaction from $99 to $2, took $145 in cash while pretending to purchase items from a non-existent customer, and was seen leaving the store with “bags of merchandise”. 20-year-old Kevin Morelos walked into the Linbar Market in South Nashville and asked the clerk for a dollar. The clerk offered him a job, instead. In response, Morelos lifted his jacket, revealing a gun, and told him they needed to go outside and talk about it. The clerks called police, who responded to find Morelos as a passenger in a vehicle still outside the store. The vehicle gave chase and eventually stopped to let Morelos out, who was then taken into police custody. He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of heroin. Morelos is free on a $5,500 bond.

Metro Nashville Police say 25-year-old Taylor Jones admitted to firing a Taurus 9mm handgun while inside her bedroom, in the direction of her closet. The bullet went through her wall, and into her neighbor’s occupied apartment, passing through several walls from her bathroom, closet, and bedroom. While no one was injured, the neighbor was in fear of her life. Taylor Jones was charged with reckless endangerment of an occupied habitation and is free on a $50,000 bond.

54-year-old year Bill Whitaker, of Ohio, was leaving a Nashville Hotel when he noticed someone following him. He traveled just down the road to stop, and the lady following him parked across the street, waiting and watching him. Being legally armed, he drove his truck across the curb, walked up to her window, and exchanged words while holding his weapon.

The lady was a (not so discreet) beginner private investigator, named Jennifer Parker, of the Dillon Agency, who offers their services on ‘Thumbtack’ and other style websites. She claims he threatened to kill her if she didn’t stop following him, he says he thought she was a gang member stalking him. Police charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and he is free on a $2,500 bond. The Dillon Agency did not respond to multiple requests for comment prior to publication.
