Allan Debowsky, of Debo’s Bail Bond Company, found himself in an odd situation Wednesday, as he became a wanted man, with Metro Nashville looking to place cuffs on him, instead of his usual placing cuffs on people he’s surrendering. He is charged with hiring a felon to work as a bounty hunter.

News Channel 5 says an employee posted, then removed, Gay Pride logo because “it had not gone through our usual process of discussion and approval”.. & “was in no way meant to indicate a lack of support for the LGBTQ community, either from the station or the employee involved”
Man charged with rape/sexual battery of 3 children under 13 years old
The Davidson County Grand Jury has indicted 58-year-old Washington Saltos on 2 counts of rape of a child, and 4 counts of aggravated sexual battery, involving 3 victims under the age of 13.
Man vandalizes MNPD patrol car, causes $1,500 in damages with feet
Metro Police say Demetrius Harris was being arrested for kidnapping when he caused approximately $1,500 in damages to the patrol car they placed him in before they read his charge to him, by kicking the screen and rear door, causing it to no longer fully close.

The LGBT Chamber says they are disappointed and ‘they need to stand strong and not back down.’

Nashville’s local CBS Affiliate, WTVF – News Channel 5, spent about an hour today realizing how many people in Tennessee feel all their lives. The station changed its logo to a rainbow for pride month, but after hundreds of threats and negative comments, quickly deleted it from social media, along with the comments, as if it never happened.
Passed out in a parking garage; too drunk for the ER
Monica Hoffmeyer, from Cookeville, was found passed out in a downtown parking garage, and when medics took her to the hospital, she earned a disorderly conduct charge, in addition to public intoxication, after she caused a scene and tried to flee on foot.

Metro Police have charged Kevonte Barnes with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, after they say he repeatedly punched his mother in the head and face, before he struck her in the head with his foot, rendering her unconscious.
3 charged in armed robbery at Greyhound Station in downtown Nashville
Metro Police have charged 3 men with robbing a man at the Greyhound station downtown. Police say one of them had a gun as they assaulted a man, taking $150 and a cell phone. They are each held on a $75,000 bond, charged with aggravated robbery with a weapon.
