Two brothers arrested with 18 pounds of crystal meth at Dickerson Rd Walmart

The 2 week long investigation ended today in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart at 3458 Dickerson Pike, where the men were in a parked vehicle to make a suspected drug transaction. MNPD Officers Shoot & Kill Man at Overlook Ridge Apartments in North Nashville

In what would become the 3rd officer involved shooting in 19 months, MNPD officers responded to a call of shots fired at 2400 Buena Vista Pike, the Overlook Ridge Apartments just after 10:30 PM Friday night. During the incident, a MNPD officer was shot in the thigh and ankle. Two other officers returned fire, killing the suspect. Roads and part of the interstate were shut down to traffic along the the route while an ambulance transported the injured officer to the hospital for treatment.
