MNPD Officers Shoot & Kill Man at Overlook Ridge Apartments in North Nashville
In what would become the 3rd officer involved shooting in 19 months, MNPD officers responded to a call of shots fired at 2400 Buena Vista Pike, the Overlook Ridge Apartments just after 10:30 PM Friday night. During the incident, a MNPD officer was shot in the thigh and ankle. Two other officers returned fire, killing the suspect. Roads and part of the interstate were shut down to traffic along the the route while an ambulance transported the injured officer to the hospital for treatment.
ARREST: TSU Student who put toilet water in roommate’s drinks indicted by Grand Jury after prior charge dismissed
After the original charge was dismissed, a Grand Jury has now returned with 2 felony indictments for Tierni Williams, who put toilet water in the drinks of her TSU roommate, who then got sick over a period of weeks. She was booked on Friday, and posted a $5,000 bond.

Sexual Assault Arrest at Tequila Cowboy
Austin Winstead was being escorted out of the bar for being disorderly, when he smacked a lady on the ass as private security officers were attempting to remove him from the bar. After committing sexual assault on the woman, he began to assault the four security officers as they continued to attempt to remove him from the property.
